After consideration during Exco meeting, we are pleased to announce the official players for Kuala Lumpur in 2017 Malaysia Chess Championship.

3. For Direct Entry players, registration must be made directly through MCF by 14th March 2017.

4. Slot for extra players are still open. However, if registration is received after 13th March, a late penalty or RM 100 will be imposed. Late entry is applicable until 18th March 2017.

Invitation to participate in Malaysian Chess Championship (MCC 2017)

Invitation to Participate in MALAYSIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS 2017 (NCC 2017).

The Malaysian Chess Championship 2017 will be organized as follow:

Venue : Yayasan Al Khatiri Multi Purpose Hall, Kubang Kerian, Kota Bharu.

Date : 23rd March 2017 - 27th March 2017

The criteria set by MCF to participate on the tournament are:

Official qualification 

MEN : Minimum FIDE elo of 1800 or NR of 1650

WOMEN : Minimum FIDE elo 1550 or NR of 1500

Wildcard qualification 

MEN : Minimum Fide elo of 1650 or NR of 1500

WOMEN : Minimum FIDE elo of 1450 or NR of 1300

Each state is eligible to field two (2) official players and four (4) additional/wildcard player for each category.

There is no limit to quota if the player exceeds official qualification rating.
